Journey Towards Redemption

Each of our Fellows has their own unique journey of redemption, from incarceration, to the realization that they needed to change, to discovering and believing in the principles of virtues taught by The Redemption Project, and finding hope for the future.

Four of our staff members are also TRP Fellows, and they graciously shared their personal, emotional story of finding their way to redemption.

The videos below explore the emotional experiences of the TRP Fellows during incarceration and their journeys towards redemption through our program.

  • Emotional Struggles: Incarceration brings forth a range of emotions such as shame, disappointment, and embarrassment, particularly for those who have never faced legal trouble before.

  • Facing Reality: Individuals reflect on their situations upon entering prison, often feeling devastated and questioning how they arrived at this point in their lives.

  • Personal Transformation: Many choose to use their time in prison to confront their past actions and work towards personal growth, recognizing the need for change to avoid repeating mistakes.

  • The Redemption Project: Participants engage in our Virtues For Success program that encourages deep self-examination and character development, fostering a sense of belonging and instilling values that help them move forward positively.

  • Hope for the Future: Through the lessons learned in the Redemption Project, individuals find purpose in giving back and develop a clearer vision of their future, feeling empowered to change their lives for the better.
