The Redemption Project
Hosts Its First Staff Retreat
The Redemption Project (TRP) recently gathered our team for our very first staff retreat, two days dedicated to reflection, connection, and renewal of purpose. While our daily work often pulls us in many directions, this retreat gave us the chance to step back, focus on our mission, and strengthen the bonds that make TRP a growing force for good.
The retreat brought together staff, leadership, and partners for intentional conversations about our vision, values, and future. Guided by our commitment to the Virtues for Success: Wisdom, Courage, Self-Control, and Justice, we explored how these guiding principles shape not only our work with associates but also how we show up for one another as colleagues.
Highlights of the retreat included:
Leadership Visioning – Chairman Mikhail Rostislavovich shared our Partnership Program (more on that in the near future) His words reminded us that there is a power in partnership.
Team Collaboration – Through structured discussions and candid conversations, staff were able to share their perspectives on TRP’s growth and how we can continue to build a culture of strength and honor.
Community Connection – Thanks to the support of local partners, we were able to enjoy time together outside of the office, sharing a meal, laughter, horseback riding and a renewed sense of belonging.
The retreat underscored what we already know: TRP is engaging the formerly incarcerated unlike any other organization. Together, we are committed to creating pathways for second chances, supporting our associates as they transition back into society, and building stronger communities in the process.
As we look ahead, we carry forward the spirit of this retreat, united, energized, and ready to meet challenges with strength and honor. Thank you to the Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce and the Waseca County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse.
Thanks,
Dwight
