2020 Can't Stop The Top 5 Things We're Grateful For

With Thanksgiving just days away, we know that many of your holiday traditions will look and feel different than they have in the past. It may be harder to muster “what you’re grateful for” in a year where loss has seemed far more present than gain. However, we believe that gratefulness is a choice we all have—no matter our circumstances. So even though 2020 has no doubt dealt us all some hardship, we’re choosing to kick off Thanksgiving week with a bit of optimism and the Top 5 Things We’re Grateful For This Year:

1. Our Fellows

These men of good character have worked hard to complete our program and are representing TRP well in their communities and on the job.

2. Our Donors

Our incredible donors continued their generosity and commitment to our mission despite the challenges of 2020.

3. Our First Full Time Employee

This October we hired Thomas Pippitt. Tom is a former TRP Fellow with a background in software engineering and is currently serving as our Director of Operations.

4. A Growing Business Coalition

Through our Minnesota First Step Business Coalition, more and more businesses and organizations have taken action and pledged to give former inmates a second chance at life through employment.

5. Completing the Catalyst Program

This year we completed Stand Together Foundation's Catalyst Program alongside other organizations making a difference in their communities.

Whether it has been with your finances, your time, or simply reading these emails, you’ve made it easier for us to be grateful amid this most unprecedented year. Thank you for choosing to support TRP as we continue to help former inmates transform into positive community members through meaningful employment. Your support has truly made all the difference.

Happy Thanksgiving
from all of us at
The Redemption Project!
